TREK FUTURE RACING rocks the World Championship in Andorra
and becomes the most successful junior team - 4 x podium!
Tobias causes a surprise -
Emilly shines with fighting spirit and secures bronze
Andorra was the setting for a World Championships full of suspense and unexpected twists and turns! The night before the big race, the UCI caused a stir with a last-minute a last-minute change to the programDue to the weather forecast, the men had to start three hours earlier and the women and U23 riders started together. But TREK FUTURE RACING remains cool under pressure - our team that is not fazed by any surprises.
The boys set off on time at 8:30 a.m. - accompanied by rain, which made the course a grippy dream for mountain bikers. An unexpected picture emerged on the very first lap: the season favorites fell short of expectations, while Swiss rider Dario Lilo and Frenchman Luca Martin took the lead. Riley Amos and Bjorn Riley, who usually lead the field, had difficulties.
But one of them took his chance: Tobias! Strengthened by his bronze medal from the short track race, the young Dane put in another impressive performance and took his second bronze medal of these World Championships - an incredible success!

Bjorn bravely fought his way to 5th place despite being behind in training, and after a snake bite three weeks ago that knocked him out of training, this result is really something to be proud of. Ian, our youngest Rider in the team, felt the challenge of the altitude and the tough conditions on Friday, but finished in a decent midfield position and gained valuable experience in his first World Championships in the U23 class.
The U23 women's race was particularly hot: over 100 riders started together with the elite - a race for every centimeter. There was a lot of pushing on the steep climbs and narrow downhill sections, but Emilly kept a cool head. She pushed through the field, rode a confident race and crowned her performance with the bronze medal. After a difficult start, Lea fought her way forward bit by bit and proved with 18th place that she can keep up with the world elite. Natalia also did extremely well and finished her first World Championships in the U23 category in a strong 27th place.
Our team returns from Andorra with a proudly swollen chest and looks back on the last World Cup races overseas. "This was an outstanding success for our team. I am incredibly proud of the young Rider and their development over the last two years," said Ignazio Ossen, who not only acts as our technical expert, but also as a close companion and supporter of the athletes.
