Social responsibility

As a team, we take on social responsibility, which also includes supporting children's homes, which we find out about in advance, make direct contact with and visit. This was also the case at our training camp in Namibia.

The question/opinion often arises: "As a privileged white person, there is no point in visiting these children's homes - we can't make a difference, can we?"

You can't change the world on your own, but anyone can help people to have a "good day" - and you don't have to be a hero or a saint to help.

The projects supported by our team always include education programs. And at the Childrens home Namibia, the children are given the opportunity to attend school and receive support with their education, as well as security and safety. The children's home is run with much love by "Mumy Justin". And in the background, Ulrike Mai works passionately to ensure that the project continues to provide sustainable support.

When asked if all children manage to leave poverty? No, but some do and that's what it's all about! Even an athlete doesn't win every race, but enjoys every podium finish. It's the same with supporting people - you won't always be successful, but always rejoice when you succeed once more.

We will keep in touch with the children's home, as well as with the other projects, and will be delighted if Kylie or another child makes it 😊.

Whether you report on your social commitment or help quietly is up to you. Up until 5 years ago, I only got involved quietly, until I realized that by reporting about it, I was motivating other people to help or confirming them on their path.
